OUTFOXED AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOGS

"The Dog's Prime Function, and one in which he has no peer, is the control and movement of cattle."

Outfoxed ACDs began with a little blue dog from a rescue in 2011. Today it is comprised of four ACDs. They have participated in numerous activities including herding, conformation, obedience, rally, dock diving, barn hunt, agility and disc.

Australian Cattle Dogs are brilliant companions, exceptional workers and generally all-around good company.

About Outfoxed Australian Cattle Dogs

My name is Charlotte and I'm the owner of Outfoxed Australian Cattle dogs located near Lexington, Kentucky.

I believe in breeding workable dogs for health, temperament, and intelligence. While I grew up with other herding breeds, I purchased my first ACD  (Zephyr) from a rescue in 2011. Zephyr was my gateway to so many new experiences and was my entry to performance events. In 2014 I was privileged to purchase my first well-bred ACD from Rebecca Elder of Wayout ACDs. Through the years I have been given the opportunity to own and co-own several dogs more dogs with Rebecca- all of which have made an impact and some serve as the foundation of Outfoxed ACDs.

Complete and transparent health testing is a critical piece of the puzzle that is breeding sound dogs. Hips (OFA and/or PennHip), Elbows, BAER, prcd-PRA, PLL, and rcd4-PRA are standard tests for Australian Cattle Dogs and are issues which arise frequently. While knowledge of these results does not guarantee perfect health through the lifetime of puppies from tested parents it does allow breeders to make important decisions regarding producing the best and healthies puppies possible.

I am a member of the Australian Cattle Dog Club of America and the Lexington Kennel Club
